Firsts! Summer 2018 Updates

Well ALLRIGHT!  Summer is here and the time is right for boot stompin’.  Lot’s first time events for us although we are performing our annual Oshawa Memorial Park “free” show August 9th.

So firstly(is that a word?), we’re playin music festivals…wouldn’t be summer with out the festivals.  For the first time we are playin the Napanee Jamboree and also first time The Ameripolitan North Music Festival in Kingston,  Woo Ho!  Please check in as we also are looking at other possible festivals.

Speaking of first, so glad the gang has been asked to be part of the Hillier Creek Winery Thursday Night Barn Dances July 9 and August 30th.  We are doing private parties for the first time as well, as reflected on our tour page.  This news feed makes a great drinking game, drink every time you read first!

Cheers!

Awesome Summer With More In-store

Well ALRIGHT!  We are now looking forward to our second leg of summer dates.  We will once again be playing our second home base Kensington Market, Toronto at our monthly residency at the Trinity Commons.

Three more festivals coming up. All great spots.

  1. Once again this year we will be playing BBGFest 2017; Black and Bluegrass Festival in Ottawa (anyone with floor space?  Sleeping on a roof can be bright in the early morning, nevermind the birds).
  2. This years Lucky 13th Omemee Jams will be a kick ass time, only if Ralph is not going to be a dick.
  3. New to us this year we will be at (what we consider our first home) The Prince Edward County Country Jamboree in Cherry Valley, ON. Yee Haw!

The first half of our summer has been kick ass-bad ass fantastic… starting with second consecutive May 24 The Come Together Festival (Mark, you’re the man).  We were the newbs this year at The Preston Springs Jamboree and it sure was a boot kicking, honky stomping time even if the bugs were in our eyes, mouths, ears and beers!  Thanks for the free beers Waterloo Brewery at the Bowmanville Ribs And Brews Festival, it was a finger lick’in good time!  We rode our flag waving hay wagon celebrating our patriotism in Wellington for Canada Day and the crowd was like a river of Red and White, Roll’in in our sweet baby’s arms!

Thank you everyone , so far so good.

It’s Time to Party

We had a great time last year and accomplished most of our goals including The East Bound and Down Tour, awesome festivals, residency at the Dakota and constant gigging with great people from all over the planet.

We are welcoming the addition of a stand up bass to the line up this year to add more blue grass feel to the sound while also keeping our rockers electric.

Help us make this year the year of the Gunslinger and also the year of kick-assedness

Christmas Piss-up Once Again Will Conclude Our Year

This year we had tremendous success playing further and further from our home base.  We saw a residences at The Dakota Tavern in Toronto playing 5 times in March.  We official played our first east coast tour and play major festivals such as The Come Together Festival and The Black and Blue-Grass Festival in Ottawa.

This October we wine our busy year by playing 2 Shows at our favorite bars in The Kensington Market.  First at Graffiti’s on the 22nd and then The Trinity Commons on the 30th of the Halloween weekend.  In between those shows we are happy to play The Rivoli for the first time Tuesday Oct 25.

Once again we will be playing and headlining The Annual Piss Up at the Moustache Club in Oshawa  Friday, Dec 23rd.  But before we get into the holiday spirit we will be doing 2 parades in Prince Edward County.  The first will be at Picton at 1pm Sunday Nov 27 and the other will be at Wellington 10:30am on Saturday Dec.3rd
